Questionnaires can be very difficult to get right. Most of you made a very good start to understanding them and putting that understanding into practice. I am sure that you can work harder and faster given more focus and look forward to seeing you all tomorrow break time so that you can prove me right. The questionnaires that you are currently working on will help you figure out how to sell the Nissan Leaf to a target audience. If you get clear information from the questions that you ask then it will be much easier to create an effective print advert for your product. Hopefully you found the feedback given in today's lesson useful and have a good idea about where you are and what you need to do to progress further. Many of you should be very happy with what you have done so far but you should also take the opportunity of this lesson and next to act on some of your feedback and improve your work.
Your Home Learning is a simple one and due in on Monday 15th October. On the task sheet that you had there was a picture of a sheep and the letter B B H. Your task is to find out what these mean. As you are doing so you need to be considering the following:
Your review period is finally here! Your work has been gathered and will be assessed over the coming week ready for a lesson next week when we can look through the data and see just how you have been progressing and how much you have managed to put into practice. You will have the opportunity to act on any feedback given - some will be given opportunities to use after school time to catch up on progress missed - so don't think that you will just be left with your grade and nothing else. Remember that this is a process and it does not matter where you start from as long as you try your hardest to progress from there. Some really good progress being made today and a very focused working atmosphere. It is good to see that you are getting to grips with and applying the specialist terms and knowledge that we have been learning over the past few weeks. Remember that you should be moving on to analysing your advert of choice and comparing it to the AXE advert we have looked at in class. Remember that this task is worth 60 marks - 50% of the marks for this unit - so make sure that you are doing your best.
