Cover Work Friday 20th June 2014
Today we looked at how effective your questionnaires were by conducting an evaluation of them You all annotated your questionnaires and consider how you had laid them out, what mixture of questions you used, how clear your instructions were and how effective you thought they would be at gathering useful information. We started to complete the evaluation document - which will provide you with starting points when we use a controlled assessment session to create an evaluation of your questionnaire once all of the data has been gathered.
Today we explored some of the techniques that will be needed when creating effective cover lines for your magazines. We started by looking at some of the literary techniques that you could use to attract an audience and make your features more appealing. We then moved on to some advanced Photoshop skills by using the CHARACTER window and settings to create visually effective cover lines.
