There was some very good progress today. Many of you are really starting to get to grips with the template and the more sophisticated nature of the Photoshop work that is needed. We have 3 lessons left now to produce your product. Thoughts should be turning to capturing or bringing in appropriate images to use for your cover art.
Make sure that you are still considering the TARGET AUDIENCE that you have defined in your planning and on your brief sheet. Remember that we looked at how this cover uses established brands such as EA to attract a Mainstream audience, male players on the cover to attract a male audience and even recognisable football organisations such as FIFA, Man Utd and Chelsea to attract football fans. You also need to know what you have used to attract your target audience.
The computer game planning seems to have gone very well with some really creative ideas and well thought out suggestions. Next lesson we will be looking at using the cameras and the equipment to capture high quality images and how to use the Photoshop templates that you will be using to get really high quality results. Remember to be thinking about the things that you need to bring in to create your cover images after half term.
