Today we discussed the way that games represent our world, we discussed some of the analogies between real world conflict and the themes in Angry Birds. Some interesting interpretations coming out from the class today, it's good that we can now have discussions with some focus.

Three lessons into the computer games unit and again the class are working well, let's keep this going.
In class on Wednesday I asked you to keep a games diary, keep this diary going through to wednesday of this week. Make sure you take time to write it up before wednesday's lesson so it can be used in class and handed in. We have some analysis to tackle this week so come to class ready to learn. With the advertising unit complete we will be moving onto a new topic of computer games. There has been some good work generated during the advertising unit and I expect that to continue throughout our investigation into the computer games industry. WIth products like the example here we can aim for some very professional looking computer game cover. There has been a noticable improvement in the work ethic of this class, keep it up! |
