Maslow's Hirearchy of Needs isn't a simple theory, it's usually delivered to post 16 students, so you should all be proud of trying to tackle it this early in your study of Media.
I just want to ensure that everyone is clear on the theory.
Before our lesson on Monday 17th I would like you to identify two products and explain how you think they meet the needs as detailed in the diagram.
Remember, not all products will meet every need in the pyramid, but ones that reach the top must cover all the lower stages also.

In Wednesday's lesson we introduced the GCSE Media course and began to look at our first unit 'Advertising'. During the lesson we began to discuss different types of advertising, where we see it and what the aim of the advertising is.
