Hi guys. Unfortunately my throat is worse today and I need to rest it but the internet will serve as an effective way of delivering the lesson. Follow the tasks below and follow the slides from the lesson. Remember that you need to have the volume very low or use headphones when watching the appropriate clips. TASK 1 - In your books write the title - Action/Adventure 9 Part 2 - and the date. Underline them both. TASK 2 - Identify the three shots that are used. You can use the notes from last lesson to check. Write your responses in your book under sub-headings of Shot 1, Shot 2 etc. Make sure that you are also considering why they would be used. What is being shown? What is not shown? The last shot also has a use of angle that you could comment on. TASK 3 - Draw the camera diagram with the arrows in your book. Watch the video labelled camera movements and as the moves are discussed try to label the appropriate arrows around the camera. There is one missing. What would you call this move? TASK 4 - Draw up a table. List the types of camera movements and then in the next column consider why they might be used? Some of the movements and their use are discussed in the video. TASK 5 - Use the TMNT clip to identify 2 shots types and 2 came movements and explore why they are used. Write them as notes but be as precise as possible and identify when and where in the clip they are used. TASK 6 - Turn your notes into 4 Point-Evidence-Explore paragraphs. I have given you some sentence starters to use. That's it! Easy huh?
HOME LEARNING Today we continued to work on planning and drafting the article that will form an important part of your double page spread. Remember to keep the article in the appropriate style and include the things that your audience would want to read about. You first draft will be in soon and will provide an opportunity for feedback.
