Today we continued to look at audiences and the different ways of categorising them. We have now started to connect ideas like Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and Young and Rubicam's 4C's to add a layer of complexity from the work done in Year 9 and earlier in Year 10. This will enable some of you to arrive at subtle and details conclusions when it comes to exploring your target audience through your independent tasks next lesson.

HOME LEARNING Hi Year 10. Unfortunately I am not in today because my throat has gotten even worse. You will notice that I have posted the lesson from yesterday as always. Todays lesson you should spend completing the independent layout tasks from that lesson. Remember that you can download a copy of the task list from the right of this blog page.
TASK 1 - Complete the appropriate amount of layout planning tasks. TASK 2 - Use any extra time to go back and fill in any tasks that you have not completed from the research and photo parts of the table. Another chance to develop your Photoshop skills today. Today we looked at layers, blending modes, filters, making adjustments to images, strokes and adjustment layers. Well done for getting to grips with these advanced Photoshop features and hopefully you will find ways of using them in your CD cover production.
