Today we looked at applying the narrative theories that we have ben studying to a narrative by using a tension graph to plot the major events and the effect that it has on an audience. Remember that spikes in the graph can often be attributed to key moments in Todorov's Theory of Equilibrium such as the inciting incident or the resolution. Others may coincide with key aspects of Binary Oppositions or Propp's theory of Character Functions. HOME LEARNING
