Today we looked at the work of Roland Barthes and how he sought to explain how stories worked and what makes them successful. Remember that Enigma Codes and Action Codes are the most important to be able to us and talk about as these form the basis of many narratives. We also looked at the difference between story and plot and now you should be able to use the terms story, plot and narrative with increasing confidence and accuracy. Remember to look at your Home Learning to ensure that you understand the theory that we have covered.
