Today we continued to look at the way that the media constructs representations in order to sell products. We decided that these artists were represented very differently in order to appeal to very different audiences. I have left an outline of what you all thought were the audiences for them under the photographs.

Remember that the important step is to provide evidence for your suggestions by decoding the meanings that are being created by the personal, performance, visual, technical and narrative codes. This will be an important step in your analytical assignment - so remember to do it.
